After her studies at the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and various experiences in several reputed French Fashion Houses in Paris, Thérèse Mortegoutte quickly came to understand that her distinctive skill was above all the creation of prints and textile design.

This observation, blended with her pronounced passion for trips and her acute sensitivity for shapes and colors blends, leads her to work and think about a personal project which originates numerous years backwards, and will lead to the creation to the Maison Chrysalide in 2018. Indeed, since she was given the opportunity to discover and travel around the world as of her infancy, her creativity and imagination have always been marked by colors harmony, drawn or architectural patterns, through cultures and years.

The silk scarves that she draws in Paris are inspired from these fleeting memories and are like works of art by which she finds herself : “Beauty” maïeutics, private pieces of lived moments put down and offered on a luxury and durable medium.
